Professional Development

We’re looking for self-motivated, passionate providers that have a natural drive to explore, learn, and grow. You’ll be encouraged to develop in a way that is challenging but interests you. We understand not everyone’s pathway is initially clear to them. We want to help you figure that out, help you to prepare for what’s next, and then watch you grow.

Is community involvement important to you? Participate in Heartsaver CPR and Stop the Bleed training or provide training to our law enforcement partners. Want to pay it forward? Work with the Center for Medics training new EMTs and paramedics. Does distributive education and content development pique your curiosity? Create content for our PRODIGY platform. Collegiate EMS more your thing? Train and mentor the next generation of healthcare providers at both Harvard’s Crimson EMS and MIT’s EMS programs.

Opportunities are available to teach, train, and network with both students and faculty at Harvard Medical School, the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency Programs, the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions, and the Northeastern University Physician Assistant Program.

If you like it here and decide to stick around for a while we’ll provide an opportunity for you to grow within the organization. Progress from EMT to medic, medic to FTO, and FTO to Operations Supervisor. Move into Communications as a dispatcher, explore CQI as a peer reviewer, teach at the Center for Medics, provide help desk/IT support with Pro EMS Solutions, or take a shot at running the show. Our CEO and the majority of our management team started here as EMTs or paramedics.
